Dance of Thieves Blog Tour : Mood Board

Today, we’re featuring Mary E. Pearson’s Dance of Thieves. We are absolutely thrilled to be part of her blog tour. We loved her previous series, The Remnant Chronicles in fact, Kiss of Deception remains amongst our very favorite fantasy stories. So, reading another series set in the same world is exciting to say the least.

You can tell from the synopsis that we meet two characters from two very different worlds. A young king and a former street thief (who’s managed to keep all her fingers–yes, thieves get their fingers cut off as punishment!) set up two points-of-view that lead us down a path filled with heart-pounding moments, Mary’s signature fight scenes and romance that makes sense given their back stories.

Oh you guys, what a fantasy story! I will post my review of it later this week. But in the mean time, enjoy this mood board that I put together:

If you missed Mary at her tour stops, you can still call the bookstores because they usually have extra signed copies and are willing to ship them out to you:

Mary E. Pearson is the NYT bestselling and award-winning author of eleven YA novels and one novella. Her works include the completed trilogy, The Remnant Chronicles, which in a starred review, Publisher’s Weekly called “masterfully crafted.” Her favorite activities as a child were climbing tall trees imagining she was a hero in some fantastical world, or running along fence tops and roofs pretending she was a spy with a bagful of amazing gadgets. She was rarely herself. Amazingly, she never broke a bone until she caught a basketball in gym class. Catching real balls was not her forte. These days she continues to live in make-believe worlds she creates in her books. Her latest 2-book series, Dance of Thieves, allows her do all kinds of dangerous things without breaking any bones. So far.
